Fast for a forest creek: moderate rises clear in about a day; floods take two.

Access points

Guffey Road Bridge (Rocky Road) - top of the DHALO · Map pin

Parking: Bridge pull-offs at the Guffey Road bridge; National Forest land around the crossing.

The Delayed Harvest Artificial Lures Only section starts here: 4.77 miles downstream to the Allegheny National Forest boundary near Westline (PFBC). The gauge is at this bridge - read it, then fish it.

Westline - bottom of the DHALO · Map pin

Parking: Village of Westline: roadside parking, the Westline Inn for supplies; the creek meets the Allegheny Reservoir arm (Kinzua Bay) just below.

Where the special water ends and the creek dies into the bay. Below Westline is general-regulation water toward the reservoir - lake fish wander up in spring.

Dewdrop reach (below Westline, toward the bay) · Map pin

Parking: Forest Service recreation access at Dewdrop on the reservoir arm.

The creek's last mile is really the reservoir's first cove: spring warmwater and wandering lake trout water more than creek fishing - listed so you know where the creek story ends.

Access changes with postings and seasons — respect every sign, and confirm current PFBC regulations before fishing.
